Updated SDS templates, aligned with GHS Revision 7

In May 2024, OSHA finalized updates to the Hazard Communication (HazCom) Standard, aligning it with GHS Revision 7, and extended compliance deadlines to May 19, 2026, for substances and November 19, 2027, for mixtures. AGA has updated its Safety Data Sheet (SDS) templates to reflect the revised standard and advises archiving older versions. The label templates did not require updates. By November 2026, employers that receive covered chemicals must maintain updated SDSs, update workplace labels as needed, and refresh their hazard communication programs and employee training.
