New standards/application for "twisted steel fiber" a.k.a. "micro rebar"
There is a new ASTM standard coming out for this product and it can be spin-galvanized to A153, although the proposal is to allow any coating including electroplating. It's a new alternative to traditional rebar or wire mesh, utilizing 1-inch twisted steel components that are mixed directly in with the concrete mix.
