It is with great sadness we announce the early November passing of Edgar K. Schutz, one of the finest gentlemen ever in our industry. He was the face of Zinc Corporation of America/Horsehead for decades and will always be remembered for his laugh, genuine respect for everyone, and the dinner dance he provided at the AGA annual conferences. Horsehead sponsors an educational scholarship in Ed’s name each year given out by the AGA to deserving university engineering or architecture student. Our condolences to longtime friend Vivian and the Horsehead family of employees.  Read the obituary.
