AGA Marketing Director John Krzywicki was invited to speak at the upcoming 2023 Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) Conference Pursuing New Heights in Calgary, AB to be held on May 24-26th. John will be presenting Specifying High-Quality Hot-Dip Galvanized Coatings on Thursday, May 25th from 9:00 - 10:00 AM.

The presentation will examine the hot-dip galvanizing process as well as other zinc coatings, and detail the intrinsic benefits galvanizing provides. It will assist specifiers in the proper design and specification of hot-dip galvanized coatings for steel corrosion protection. The session will examine the hot-dip galvanizing process, ASTM specifications, real world life cycle cost analysis, design best practices, inspection, and preparing the galvanized surface for painting/powder coating. John will also promote our recently revised Suggested Specifications for Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel, Suggested Specification for Preparing Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel Surfaces for Painting & Suggested Specifications for Hot-Dip Galvanized Reinforcing Steel Word documents written in CSI format.
