What I Enjoy Most About My Job

Working with our members to promote the benefits and sustainability of hot-dip galvanizing. I also enjoy communicating with specifiers (architects, engineers, etc.) to promote these same benefits.

My Most Significant Contribution to Our Members/Industry

Compiling and writing the content for both the Design CD, Specifier CD, and AGA's "first" website which helped launch the AGA's digital information distribution in the early 2000s. Significantly increased the number of Galvanize It! seminars presented to architects, engineers and other specifiers.

What I Consider the Most Interesting/Impactful Thing about HDG

Hot-dip galvanizing has been protecting steel for more than 170 years and its unparalleled corrosion protection makes it the absolute best coating for the job in many applications. HDG's longevity and superior corrosion protection makes it easy to stand behind and promote against the competition.

Other Interesting Things that Shape My Life

Outside of work, I spend most of my free time with my wife, son, and our two dogs. I love golfing and playing tennis in the summer and skiing in the winter. I also enjoy spending time outdoors and visiting my native state of Wyoming to enjoy some peace and quiet. I'm also an avid sports fan and watch/follow various sports.

Random Facts

My first time surfing in Costa Rica ended with me getting stitches in my chin at a dentist office.
