Thanks to the generosity of many of the Annual Conference attendees, AGA is sending $1,000 to the Zinc Saves Kids program established by the International Zinc Association.  The money will be forwarded on to the United Nations International Children’s Fund (UNICEF) who will purchase zinc supplement tablets for distribution to populations in agricultural areas deficient in zinc nutrients in the soil.  With this money, 200 children will grow at normal rates, improve cognitive abilities, and be saved this year from the deadly effects of persistent diarrhea.  Thank you to all who donated.
