United For Infrastructure

Infrastructure Week 2025 kicks off May 12-16 with a renewed focus on the theme “Building for Tomorrow, Today,” highlighting the urgent need to invest in modern, resilient, and future-ready infrastructure. Across the country, leaders in transportation, energy, water, and broadband are coming together to spotlight critical projects and policy innovations that will drive economic growth and sustainability.

The Short Span Steel Bridge Alliance (SSSBA) and the American Galvanizers Association (AGA) will be hosting a free webinar May 15th at 12pm ET - Steel Bridges and Resilience: Engineering the Future of Infrastructure. The SSSBA and AGA have developed free, essential resources to streamline steel bridge design and ensure long-term performance with a 100-year service life. To build more resilient bridges, the future must start today. With innovative materials, designs, and protection systems now available, the American steel and galvanizing industry is poised to deliver bridges that endure well into the next century—and beyond.

Join us during Infrastructure Week to explore these resources and gain the tools needed to build resilient steel bridges that stand up to tomorrow’s challenges (and earn a FREE PDH hour).

The American Galvanizers Association has launched a website fully dedicated to building a better infrastructure - markets.galvanizeit.org. It provides valuable insights, case studies, and technical animations/resources for architects, engineers, and specifiers looking to incorporate galvanized steel into infrastructure, transportation, utilities, and other sectors. With easy navigation and practical examples, the site highlights how galvanizing enhances durability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness across a wide range of projects within our infrastructure.
