Galvanizing is the ideal choice for corrosion protection for the pipe columns, as the zinc coating protects the steel from the inside out. As the pipes are lowered into the molten zinc, the liquid metal flows in and around the piece ensuring total coverage inside and out. Also, because the zinc coating grows perpendicular to the substrate steel, there is even, uniform coverage on rounded corners and edges as well. This durable barrier and cathodic protection will keep the steel in this waterpark safe and standing strong, rust-free, for generations of children to enjoy.
