The Architect has tried several different coatings, including stainless in the past and as the material aged he felt it diminished the value of these homes. They also liked the idea of minimal preparation of the steel when recoating with a paint in years to come that may be needed.
The sustainability is becoming more of a necessity in the larger metro areas like New York and Boston than was realized in the past.
