The Pier at Caesars used galvanized steel to withstand the constant exposure to salt-water spray from the Atlantic Ocean below. The indoor galvanizing process allowed work to continue on the project despite inclement weather. The design team for the Pier recognized hot-dip galvanizing for its superior edge protection and sacrificial qualities. The signs and billboards were designed to be visible for more than a mile each direction on the boardwalk, it showcases the finest qualities of hot-dip galvanized steel.
