CloseTemple Square is the most visited tourist destination in the entire state of Utah and these gates see almost 5 million visitors a year. The galvanizing was painted over to match many of the other structures here, with some being over one hundred and thirty years old. Temple Square is ten acres of beautiful gardens with multiple historical buildings. The owner felt as if the gates have been replaced way too often even for their corrosive climate. With almost 6 feet of annual snowfall in the Salt Lake City enviroment, hot-dip galvanizing was an easy choice of coatings.
