Sub Frames for Roll-Back Trucks

Under the harsh North and Northeast winters, roll-back trucks require superior corrosion protection. After years of experience with hot-dip galvanizing (HDG) smaller projects, the manufacture saw the advantages of galvanizing the steel frames for roll-back trucks.

The HDG steel sub frames are bolted to the trucks aluminum deck. Subsequently, special care was taken to ensure the smoothness of the HDG coating laid next to Teflon strip sides. The longer the steel lasts, the longer the Teflon will last. These sub frames are an example of HDG protecting both steel and its structural neighbors. Nearly eliminating sub frame maintenance, HDG gives roll-back trucks the armor to conquer even the cruelest of winters.
