Mud Tank

This 11' high, 9'6 wide and 36' long tank is used for drainage in swamp/marsh-type areas. Even though Mud Tank is quite a large fabrication, it was dipped at one time, in an 82' kettle. Extreme care had to be taken into consideration so that it could be dipped only once; size, shape and the amount of drain holes needed made this a difficult job. Though difficult, the project was galvanized with no problems and with an excellent coating. Also because of the size of Mud Tank, special trailers attached to semi-truck cabs were created for transport.
