CloseWe have all driven by the LA Fitness buildings and admired the structural steel halos perched atop the entrances. The thing you may not have known was before they are painted, the structure is hot-dip galvanized. The design team at 222 Architects wanted a structure that would remain maintenance-free for many years, so they chose hot-dip galvanizing to protect the base steel.
