Niue Island in the South Pacific decided to install wireless internet towers to provide easier access for its residents. The communication towers were hot-dip galvanized to meet the standards of the telecommunication industry. Hot-dip galvanizing is preferred because of its low-maintenance, corrosion protection. The towers are designed in smaller pieces to ease shipping and come with instructions to assemble the tower correctly. The HDG coating will be able to withstand the harsh tropical environment of the island while allowing residents and visitors of the island to connect to the internet.
