Niantic Bay Overlook

The Niantic Bay Overlook is a mile long beachfront walk in East Lyme, Connecticut. The rail panels and fasteners for the railing system of the walkway were hot-dip galvanized for corrosion protection in the harsh coastal environment. The mesh wiring required special care to ensure a smooth finish that would be safe to touch. The railings are the centerpiece of the elevated boardwalk portion of the walkway and the galvanized coating will allow the overlook to remain an attractive sight for many generations.
