The McNary High School varsity baseball field was generously funded by the donations of the local community of Keizer, Oregon. With limited funds, the school needed to allocate its own resources to providing educational resources rather than on athletics.
HDG was perfect for this project because it is the industrys strongest corrosion protection and virtually maintenance free.
The community responded by contributing to create a low-maintenance baseball field by specifying hot-dip galvanizing (HDG). When designed, the humid weather was taken into consideration because, in the past, the humidity has contributed to high-dollar maintenance. HDG was perfect for this project because it is the industrys strongest corrosion protection and virtually maintenance free. The four back stop poles, picket guard rail fence, handicap rail, stairs, and handrails were all galvanized. The end result is a field McNary High Schools varsity baseball team can be proud of for generations.
