Efficiency Vermonts Great Snow Gun Roundup involves the installation of some 2300 new high efficiency guns.
In addition to the energy savings, these guns provide reduced noise and a more authentic snowfall experience.
The Manager of the Killington Resort says the new energy efficient guns blend into the environment and are almost invisible. They are also longer lasting than the old painted guns due to the corrosion protection provided by the hot-dip galvanized finish.
