Hot-dip galvanized steel was the only coating choice for the Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Several stadiums around the country stood as fine examples of the benefits and solid performance of galvanized steel in these types of applications.
The coating will also protect the steel from the corrosive environment of the climate and the repeated use of so many people.
The stair railings were galvanized to provide a uniform coating in order to protect the thousands of fans who visit the stadium each game. The coating will also protect the steel from the corrosive environment of the climate and the repeated use of so many people. The stadium was built over the course of a year, and HDG was the only system not governed by the atmosphere when being installed. Now, Giants fans will be able to enjoy an aesthetically pleasing, safe handrail system for decades to come.
