CloseCreated to mimic organic branches, the steel elements of the Crocker Hunkin Estate Gates were hot-dip galvanized to preserve the gate from corrosion. The owners also found the matte gray appearance of the coating attractive, and a natural fit into the environment.
The superior barrier and cathodic protection, working together with the zinc patina, will protect the gate from constant exposure to the elements. It will also keep the gate looking attractive and rust free, an important feature, as the gate serves as the entry to the residence.
