Due to their increasing popularity, they expanded and remodeled the now 150,000 square foot casino. With the added attraction, the development of a new parking garage to accommodate 2400 spaces was included.
Constructing a green structure that was LEED Silver certified was important in the project goals.
With close proximity to Pompano Beach and exposure to exhaust from vehicles in the high trafficked garage, hot-dip galvanizing was required for the decorative steel screen panels surrounding the structure to ensure long service life and corrosion protection. Constructing a green structure that was LEED- Silver certified was important in the project goals. Unlike painting the steel, galvanizing helped meet these standards, provided the corrosion protection needed on the project, and overall provided a beautiful, artistic value to the design.
