In a newly rehabilitated area of New York, the West Harlem Waterfront Riverwalk has been newly remodeled. The area of West Harlem is the new and upcoming area of New York City.
Harlem's popular walk was in need of new handrails and mesh panels. With original plans to use aluminum for the project, the contractor switched to hot-dip galvanizing (HDG) to achieve the industrys best corrosion protection. The coating also needed to be aesthetically pleasing due to high visibility to the public. The handrails and mesh panels were galvanized, exceeding the manufactures expectations. The West Harlem Waterfront Riverwalk is a beautiful addition that will long contribute to its newly rehabilitated beautiful surroundings.
