CloseAll parts of this sculpture, as well as the fasteners, were hot-dip galvanized. The design is intricate and required extra attention to venting and draining holes. The correct dip temperature and minimizing of contaminants was also critical, based on the unique design of this sculpture.
Vantage Point is extremely visible to the public because it is on the corner of a main street in the center of town. A clean silver appearance was more desirable than an opaque paint or powder-coated look.
