CloseThe United States Navy special operations unit contract the customer to fabricate a very intricate duplex coated mounted platform for their unmanned drone boats. The aforementioned drone boats are crucial in situations where the Navy's air support cannot scan the water around one of their submarines for dangers due to international air restrictions.
The drone basically patrols a 30+ mile perimeter around the submarine using a pre-programmed course or controlled remotely from the submarine. Hot-dip galvanizing was immediately specified for this project to help protect the platform in the hostile environments they will encounter in the normal course of protecting freedom around the world.
