CloseThis new boat lift was one of the first to have air pumped in and out of the tanks to raise and lower the vessel, replacing the previously used Styrofoam tanks which decayed and were harmful to the wildlife. The new galvanized tanks, frames, docks, and bracing will provide a longer-lasting more environmentally friendly option. Hot-dip galvanized was specified for its longevity and quick turnaround, but the fact the cost was competitive with paint initially and more economical over the life-cycle was an added bonus.
