The University of Western Ontarios Three Little Pigs facility is used to test the behavior of structures under severe conditions. The unique testing program, which receives worldwide exposure, is performed on full-scale houses and light-frame buildings to predict how various structures will perform in realistic, extreme environmental destructive situations.
The testing structure was designed using hot-dip galvanized beams and bracing because of the severe conditions experienced during testing.

The superior corrosion protection of galvanized steel will allow the University of Western Ontario to continue performing its unique structure testing well into the future.
