When Holiday World was building The Voyage, which has over 6,400 feet of track, they desired the classic look of a wooden roller coaster without the time-consuming, costly maintenance. So, rather than use wooden frames to support the track, they used galvanized structural steel. The galvanized steel will provide a durable and corrosion-free ride, without the logistical nightmare of maintenance painting or the safety hazard of loose bolts. Choosing to galvanize the structural support of The Voyages track will ensure Holiday World will have a cost effective, maintenance-free roller coaster to wow thrill seekers well into the future.
