Newly constructed, the Robert Burnaby Park Washroom welcomes sports fans into a beautiful and warm pit stop. It is here sport fans can buy hot chocolate to warm up during a snowy game or make a quick bathroom break during half time. When planning the washroom, the designers favored the robust and appealing look of hot-dip galvanized (HDG) steel.
They also chose HDG for the project because, even in harsh Canadian winters, the material does not degrade over time. The elements galvanized include the guard rails, fasteners, handrails, vent cover, exposed mechanical venting pipe, exterior light support column, concession stand counter, interior countertops, vanities, and the outside sign. The combination of these components gives the Robert Burnaby Parks Washroom a natural and uniform finish. The durability of HDG will keep the washroom beautiful and enduring throughout generations of events at the park.
