This type of facade is formed mainly of prefabricated Orsogril panels that are joined together and assembled on-site. The components of these facades are galvanized for an industrial look and the durability of galvanizing. These panels are not only lightweight and robust, but they also boast a high resistance to corrosion, making them particularly suited for environments with variable weather conditions. When used in facade, galvanized panels not only protect the building’s mechanical components from external environmental factors but also provide an enhanced, modern appearance that's both functional and visually appealing.
"Contemporary architecture evolves in tandem with the materials and construction techniques available in each region."
The main advantages of this type of facade is the speed and ease of installation of the galvanized panels, as well as a lower cost compared to other systems. Galvanized Orsogril panels at 4ft wide by 12’ tall a total 3,260/sf. were galvanized to reduce the risk of corrosion.
Hot-dip galvanized Orsogril panels play an important part in the aesthetic appeal of the Maujer Street building creating an industrial look at low cost and low maintenance with coating durability that will allow onlookers to enjoy this functional piece of architectural artwork for decades.
