Luciens Manor Solar Parking Canopy was engineered to house solar panels while minimizing the impact on the parking lot grounds. Directly exposed to the elements the structure had all the requirements needed to specify hot-dip galvanized steel (HDG). Solaire America's prior experience with HDG made it an easy choice given galvanizings ability to withstand the ever changing weather patterns of New Jersey. The structure was designed to last for years with the option of being taken down and re-assembled at another location after 25 years. The galvanized steel was an excellent choice, allowing corrosion protection for 70 years and beyond.
