The building was built in 1928 as a Sears, Roebuck and Company distribution center but abandoned after sixty years. The center reopened in 2000 and became a Boston landmark, with a movie theater, office spaces, and retail stores.

Hope’s is the largest steel window manufacturer in the country and their reputation is based on quality, longevity and on-time delivery. Even though the project had a demanding schedule, Hope’s, with cooperation from the galvanizer, was able to meet delivery dates. The duplex system will meet the project’s requirements by providing long-term corrosion protection and aesthetics.

A decision was made to utilize the same window manufacturer specified in the earlier renovation because of the condition, design and operability over many years.
