Farming has strong growth potential, especially with the huge rise in wealth and population in countries like India and China. Protein in particular is in heavy demand in these now prosperous, but not self-sufficient in food production, areas.
The structures are mainly for farrowing pigs and to keep the animals apart during gestation and feeding periods. Galvanizing these structures offers durability, abrasion resistance, long maintenance free service life and is safe for the animals as well as being very easy to clean and sanitize.
In this highly corrosive environment, hot dip galvanizing is the logical choice with low initial cost, long service life and therefore lowest life cycle cost.
