A new walking bridge was installed in Goodrich Park with the help of local businesses coming together.
Galvanizing the structural components of the bridge was an easy choice to provide a good solution for the bridge without adding to maintenance costs down the road.
The City of Winchester was looking to revitalize Goodrich Park and one aspect was a new walking bridge. The walking bridge will help to connect the community to the park. Businesses in the area came together to complete the new bridge for the community. The old bridge was torn out and the new bridge was installed with the help of local businesses. Free concerts in the park are held at Goodrich Park each summer and this addition is a welcomed one.
Galvanizing the structural components of the bridge was an easy choice to provide a good solution for the bridge without adding to maintenance costs down the road. The galvanizer and local fabricator were happy to provide a solution that will last for years to come. A ribbon cutting was held to honor the new bridge during the last concert of the year in the park on September 18th, 2021.
