This bridge was a rehab where the new beams and railing had to match the color and style of the old sections. The section, about 180 tons, was galvanied and painted to match the existing beams and rail.

As the beams and railing already in place were rusting (requiring expensive cleaning and repainting), the new steel was galvanized to protect the bridge from future corrosion. Over 7,000 threaded struds were cleaned and galvanized and every nut fit.
