CloseThe city of Claremore Skate Park features hot-dip galvanized (HDG) skating ramp frames, guard rails, light poles, and light fixture mounting brackets. All of these components are very visible by all who use the nearby Recreation Center. There was a great priority to make certain the park would stay attractive with time. Having used HDG in the past for fishing docs, the city of Claremore contacted their local galvanizer with interest in galvanizing the skate park. The galvanizer graciously volunteered to HDG the project free of charge. This act of generosity will endure not only the grinding of skateboards; it will withstand the test of time.
