CloseHDG was specified for it's superior corrosion protection and proven performance over time. Because of the intricacy of the structure the cost of maintainance was a critical part of selecting HDG as a paint system would be extremely expensive to maintain.There are also tubular steel pieces used in the structure that the total immersion process of HDG will provide internal corrosion protection unlike a paint system that would not.
