Arborea Magna is a great metallic piece of art which is integrated harmoniously to the urban surroundings and perfectly combines innovation and sustainability.
The volumetric design respects the maximum allowed heights ensuring that this piece of art integrates harmoniously to the urban surroundings without invading contiguous spaces. Arborea Magna combines innovation and sustainability which perfectly meets the artistic and functional visions consolidating itself as an icon in the park's landscape and emblematic for Buenos Aires city.
It is a monumental structure which represents the dialogue between nature, technology and the environment. It is 34 meters high, consists of 28Ton of HDG steel, 754 LED lights and more than 27'000 ceramic pieces. Each decision at every single stage of the design was carefully analyzed so the structure could integrate to the "Innovation Park". The creation is located on the longitudinal axis of the boulevard, making it easy to spot for every passer-by. The access to the structure is through a ramp which fulfills all the local accessibility standards. The access ramp slope is 5% which allows people with reduced mobility to visit this monument. The end of the path culminates at a privileged view-point which brings the visitors an immersive experience among the textures and lights of the structure.
