The building at 90 West Street in New York City was adjacent to the Twin Towers. When the towers collapsed as a result of the 9/11 terrorist attack, debris damaged the stone of this building. During the stone facade repair, tubular steel was used to support the stone repair around the building. The tubular steel was hot-dip galvanized to insure the strength and corrosion performance of the steel in the acidic and humid environment. Using HDG will give the stone building maintenance-free support well into the future.
