In order to provide site security and a sense of 'place' for the public viewing of the World Trade Center site, the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey developed a perimeter fence system called the Viewing Wall. The High quality hot-dip galvanized system is designed to provide transparency for view the site, flexibility to conform to changing conditions as the site develops, and information for the visiting public to read in tribute to those who perished on 9/11. Quick installation with little or no on-site work and the durability to withstand the abuse of the highly trafficked pedestrian and construction area were both satisfied by the galvanized coating.
