Perched on a snowy mountain, parts of this snow maker were galvanized to protect it against constant exposure to the elements. Exposed to moisture from the snowy environment as well as from water and snow within, this project will need the dependable barrier and corrosion protection offered from hot-dip galvanized steel. The metallurgically bonded zinc coating will provide impenetrable coverage, preventing moisture from melting snow from seeping in and causing rust damage. The zinc coating grows perpendicularly when the steel is immersed in the zinc bath, meaning curved surfaces and corners receive consistent, dependable coverage a necessity in this highly corrosive environment.
