Improvements to the Seaford High School, built in 1966, had been in discussions for several years. With over-crowding becoming an increasingly popular topic, the district representatives were faced with the challenge of designing an expansion that would reflect the city's personality while providing long lasting structural integrity. The unique framing plan would need to be capable of surviving the harsh Northeast weather. A paint system alone would not provide the life cycle required to support an aesthetically pleasing design. Fortunately, a duplex system would provide the best of both worlds, allowing for a strong long lasting design, while echoing Seaford High School's desire to stand out in the community.
