All 4,000 tons (3,629 tonnes) of this observation tower were hot-dip galvanized. Measuring 13 ft (4 m) in diameter and 40 ft (12 m) high, the tower sits lakeside in an affluent section of the town and can be seen by all passersby in a boat or car. The idea behind the tower was to generate an antique feeling in a modern setting. This is a totally recreational tower, created to look out over the lake, while the appearance is that of an antique galvanized water tank, in synergy with the surrounding environment. The white rock cylinder base provides an added touch of class.
