Reynolds Razorback Stadium built in 1938, one of the more picturesque places in the SEC, has been giving new game day experiences for decades as the on-campus home for the Razorback football. The stadium was in need of additional seating and an update on the north end zone. University of Arkansas-Engineering team chose to specify Hot-Dip Galvanizing for its unmatched durability and longevity. This renovation on the stadium expanded an additional 4,800 seats and 38 suites, and added one of the largest LED displays in the SEC, the 30’ by 107’ screen is supported by a massive hot dip galvanized structure.
The University of Arkansas-Engineering team chose to specify Hot-Dip Galvanizing for its unmatched durability and longevity.
Construction started at the end of the football season and was faced with a short deadline to build the new addition. For this hot dip galvanizing was specified to help achieve the completion of project being on time and giving fans a new experience. The exposure of high traffic areas by fans using the handrails and stairs required a durable finish that HDG provided but was also instrumental offering the university a maintenance-free structure that will last for generations to come.
