The Provincetown inclined elevator connects downtown Provincetown to the Pilgrim Monument. It provides a scenic one minute 80’ ride from Bradford Street's Bas Relief Park to the top of High Pole Hill, offering stunning views of MacMillan Wharf and Provincetown Harbor. The elevator is ADA-compliant and can transport up to 18 passengers at a time.
"It has become one of the major tourist attractions in Provincetown"
The site is located directly on the ocean and is exposed to the elements all year long. Since the rails support the elevator cab, it was critical that corrosion be controlled and hot-dip galvanizing was specified
