Located in Amsterdam, NY, Mohawk Resources, Ltd. is a US manufacturer known by its brand name, Mohawk Lifts, who designs, manufactures and sells heavy duty vehicle lifts and custom industrial lift systems to customers internationally. The lift was designed and fabricated by Mohawk Lifts.

Mohawk Lifts chose galvanizing as the surface protection technology because of the durability and long life offered by the galvanized coating, and the compatibility of the technology with the products manufactured by Mohawk Lifts. Galvanizing provided significantly superior long term surface protection and overall performance versus comparable products using painted steel systems. Mohawk Lifts partnered with and relied on the the galvanizer's historic expertise in galvanizing large steel structures. Design enhancements were developed in collaboration with the galvanizer to optimize the structures for the galvanizing process.
