The pipe bridge is a critical piece of the Caro plant infrastructure for transporting the company's natural beet sugar ingredients safely across a local stream. The steel on the bridge need to be durable enough to withstand local flood debris and be free of maintenance concerns for the facility. The choice to hot-dip galvanize the steel was easy based on the needs of the construction company and sugar plant's long term expectations.
