A successful West Coast restaurant chain, Lemonade, opened a new location in sunny Venice Beach, California. They offer a unique cafeteria-style environment allowing diners to order menu items on a per portion basis. They offer a creative and diverse menu using only fresh, locally sourced ingredients and of course, multiple flavors of lemonade. The overall layout of the restaurant is hip and inviting, reflecting the uber-trendy status of this timeless beach community. The first thing that will grab patrons' attention as they approach the entrance to the restaurant is the beautifully appointed outdoor patio seating area with numerous varieties of tropical plants, trees, flowers and custom designed hot-dip galvanized slotted tables with anchored bent stools. The galvanized steel furniture is permanently arranged in this area to serve as a contrasting focal point among the lush landscaping so that customers may sit and enjoy their meal outside in an environment that promotes harmonious peace and serenity.

The hot-dip galvanizing of the slotted tables and bent stools was an original concept from the design team at Ilan Dei Studio. From the start they envisioned a matte-type, aged galvanized finish that would easily blend the cold galvanized structures into the warm and inviting outdoor environment that they had so carefully laid out and constructed. After the hot-dip galvanizing process a dulling solution was carefully applied to the steel to achieve the desired results. In addition, special handling and cleaning protocols were put into place before loading the material to be shipped directly to the restaurant. Both Ilan Dei Studio representatives and Lemonade Restaurants executive management team were ecstatic with the finished look of galvanized slotted tables and bent stools. Several upcoming new Lemonade locations have embraced this trendy outdoor environment since the launching of the initial prototype location in Venice Beach.
