CloseThere were many challenging aspects to this galvanizing project. Tube coils, fin coils, sheet and structural metal were all hot-dip galvanized for this structure. The coils were very dangerous to dip, as explosions are possible when the coils are not vented properly. The sheet metal had to be dipped perfectly to control warpage and maintain quality. These units, which were galvanized to hold up to the chemicals and moisture, are used in the U.S. and internationally.
