Hay Bale Feeders

With small square hay bales becoming harder to source and the quantity of readily available, large hay bales in the market a need for large bale feeders became apparent to Maple Hollow Farms of PA. Each feeder is designed to hold one 3'x3'x8' hay bale to feed groups of up to 45 adult sheep and goats!

The large hay bale feeders were designed to assembled on site for easy transportation. Each of the feeder components- brackets, hay racks and feed pans- were designed with hot-dip galvanizing in mind for corrosion protection. The sections can be linked together for continuous feeders in large operations or condensed to a smaller version feeder, for use in spaces that may be a tighter fit. This feeder was designed to reduce wasted hay and can feed up to 45 goats and sheep!
