Harvard Stadium, built in 1903, was a pioneering execution of reinforced concrete. The stadium is the nation’s oldest permanent concrete structure dedicated to intercollegiate athletics. When routine maintenance, minor expansion, and new handrails for the entire stadium were needed, Harvard turned to hot-dip galvanized steel.
